We have a charming and modern, but rustic self-catering cottage overlooking the indigenous forest in a quiet, and very beautiful part of The Crags. The Carraighs has a wooden deck overlooking the pool, farmlands, horse riding trails, forest areas and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. There is one bedroom with a double bed downstairs, full bathroom, fully self-catering kitchen, with a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. and an open-plan living room/dining room area with a child's bed / sofa in the living room. The loft bedroom, upstairs, has a double bed and two single beds, as well as a sleeper couch / living area and another wooden deck overlooking the stunning view. There is an outside staircase to the main cottage and no bathroom upstairs, so this room is suitable for teenagers or young adults but not for small children on their own. We have full DSTV with a decoder for Cable TV. We have a sparkling swimming pool, amazing bird-life and forest walks on the property. We are also very willing to provide meals – just let us know your preferences for picnic-style breakfasts or a barbeque; we will do the shopping for you (with sufficient notice), and you can eat at your leisure ! You’re on holiday so there is no need to get up in the morning until you feel like it ! You’re also welcome to pick organic herbs from our garden to enjoy with your food. Linen and towels are provided. We have four dogs so we caution those who are not dog-lovers or small children who are not used to dogs! Askop Road has an automatic boom with a security camera which closes the road to traffic at night, simply as a safety precaution, it works extremely well ! We have no crime problems and feel very safe walking around outside during the day and night, but don’t forget to ask for the code for the boom so that you can get in and out at any time. The perfect place to relax and discover the Garden Route in a friendly, safe and very beautiful environment! RATES : R800 per night for 2 people. Thereafter R200 pp per night.
